The annual Homecoming Picnic will be held from 12:00 to 2:00 pm on September 28 at Merryspring Nature Center in Camden. This event is free to all Coastal Senior College members, but registration is required. Bring your own food; drinks and dessert will be provided. We have rented The Hexagon, a large open-sided gazebo-like structure. This venue is accessible to all, sun or showers. After lunch, Activities Committee members will lead an optional gentle walk for all interested explorers. They are currently scouting out the trails on the 66-acre property to find the best route for our group through the gardens, fields, and forests. There is no separate sign-up for the Merryspring walk; just register for the picnic.
There is no charge for this event; it is a benefit of your membership! But you must register beginning August 11 because space is limited. Directions and parking information will be sent to all registrants in early September.
