May 8: Wiscasset with Jayne Gordon
On our second walk, we move up the Sheepscot River to the Lincoln County seat. We’ll stroll through town using the superb Museum in the Streets outdoor exhibit panels (over thirty in all) to explore the beautiful architecture and rich history lying just beyond either side of Route One. A lovely sunken garden will be our picnic spot. This experience will definitely be very different from our usual drive (or crawl) through this pretty village!
Easy to moderate two-mile walk on paved roads.
Jayne Gordonis the VP of Coastal Senior College, chair of the Activities Committee, a member of the Curriculum Committee, and teacher of courses on the intersection of landscape, local history, and literature.

Starting place and “what to wear/bring” directions will be sent to all registrants.
